Hearing for the inquiry into the decision to fund the Perth Freight Link Project Kwinana, Western Australia, 23 March 2016.


The Regional and Rural Affairs and Transport Committee of the Australian Senate will hold a public hearing in Kwinana on 23 March 2016 for its inquiry into the decision to fund the Perth Freight Link project.


At this hearing the committee will take evidence from a range of stakeholders, including the Mayors of Kwinana and Rockingham, and the Kwinana Industries Council. The committee will also take evidence from representatives of the agricultural, maritime, and transport sectors.


The committee held its first hearing for this inquiry in Fremantle on 7 October 2015, and is scheduled to table its report on 29 April 2016.


The hearing will be held in the Ken Jackman Hall, Darius Wells Library and Resource Centre, on the corner of Chisham Avenue and Robbos Way, Kwinana. It will also be streamed live at: www.aph.gov.au/News_and_Events/Watch_Parliament
